#CHANGE
How Social Media is Accelerating STEM Inclusion
Jan 27 + 28, 2022
MAIN QUESTIONS
What social media tools and strategies currently facilitate societies’ goals in STEM JEDI?
What are the activities that resonate culturally and grow viral? Do social media strategies create institutional change and help build stem-identity that leads to amplification of URG career paths? What else is needed around community-building that might accelerate systemic change?
What systemic change do you want to see that social media might help facilitate, especially around community building and recruitment (students /faculty), and retention? What strategies are needed to work beyond higher education and look at career stability and growth?
